What is an Australian Labradoodle?
Different than an Aussiedoodle or American Labradoodles, Australian Labradoodles are the offspring of 6 different breeds.
American Labradoodles, are usually a first generation cross of a poodle and a Labrador Retriever. An Australian Labradoodle is a cross between a Poodle, Labrador Retriever, Irish Water Spaniel, Curly Coat Retriever, American Cocker Spaniel, and English Cocker Spaniel. The goal of creating the Australian Labradoodle breed was to make a hypoallergenic and asthma friendly breed with the perfect temperament to be a service or therapy animal. Our multi generational Australian Labradoodles are all fifth generation or higher, multi generation Australian Labradoodles produce a more standard result in temperament, appearance, and coat.
What are Australian Labradoodles like?
Australian Labradoodles are intuitive, very intelligent, easily trainable, and are excellent with young children; all of these traits along with being hypoallergenic, make them the perfect family pet.
